  Coffee mornings are held at 10.30 am first Tuesday of the month at the Matt'D unless otherwise notified. For details, please refer to the announcement on the home page.

• What is the IWC?

  The International Women’s Club of Sofia (IWC) is a non-profit organization with the following objectives: Welcoming and assisting newcomers to Bulgaria, furthering our knowledge and understanding of Bulgaria, fostering goodwill and friendship among club members, and giving financial and material support to charity projects.

  Who can join the club?

  Membership is open to any woman who holds a foreign passport, legally resides in Bulgaria, and is interested in the purposes of the club. Bulgarian membership is restricted to 15% of the total club membership. Any Bulgarian woman who wishes to join will need to submit, along with her application form, written statements of approval from two International Members of the club. After her membership application has been approved by the Board, based on availability, she can deposit her membership fee in the bank.

  Members may now pay their new membership or renewal fees through the bank.
  New applicants or existing members can now pay their membership fees through the bank. The Annual Membership fee is 120BGN. This fee covers the membership period from September 1st through August 31st of the following year.

  Please be sure to write your full name, telephone number and home country on the bank slip when you deposit your payment. Membership dues support the cost of the monthly coffee mornings, printing the newsletter and membership badges.
